SUPER SHEPHERD’S PIE WITH SWEET POTATO AND BUTTERNUT MASH
Shepherd’s Pie is one of our favourite childhood meals, but we wanted to put a twist on the traditional recipe to make it more nourishing, and even more delicious.
Slow cooked organic turkey mince (lower in fat and higher in protein than lamb or beef) or mixed beans are layered with iron-rich wilted spinach and then topped with sweet potato and butternut squash mash, which is full of fibre and vitamins C and A. A sprinkling of melted cheese finishes the dish, giving it a rich and comforting flavour.
We use organic ingredients wherever possible.
