A twist on an Italian classic, we use black rice in our risotto, which gives a sweet, nutty flavour, firmer texture and an amazing colour to the dish. Black rice contains extremely high levels of antioxidants, and is rich in fibre. The risotto is cooked with Reishi, Porchini and Shitake mushrooms which boost the immune system and lower blood cholesterol levels. The dish is then topped with a juicy, garlicky Portobello mushroom and finished with indulgent truffle and parmesan shavings (vegan option also available).
